The River of God - Cindy Jacobs

This was such an uplifting read, we wanted to share it with all of you. Blessings and Love, Roy & Deb

“Swarms of living creatures will live wherever the river flows.  There will be large numbers of fish, because this water flows there and makes the salt water fresh [brings healing]; so where the river flows everything will live.” - Ezekiel 47:9

In 1984, I had a vision while in a hotel room in Temple, Texas.  I was all alone and not met anyone in the city.  At 6:00 in the morning, there was a knock on my door which awakened me out of a sound sleep.  Puzzled and a little shaken, I peeked out of the window.  No one was around.  As I laid back down, I murmured, “Do you want to show me something, Lord?  Did you wake me up?”

Immediately I began to have a vision.  It was a vision of a river and I knew it was the River of Life.  Oh, what a beautiful sight it was!  I thanked God over and over for showing it to me.  All of a sudden, I saw people come and get in the river.  I realized they were the church.  They started throwing up into the river and tossed garbage from their houses into the water, causing it to be polluted and unclean.  They people erected a large pediment sign that read “River of Living Water.”

I asked the Lord what had polluted the river, and He said in my heart, “Judgmentalism, criticism, sectarianism, strife and divisions - these have polluted My river.”

After a while I saw people coming to the bank of the river.  I sensed they represented the world.  They looked at the sign and the people in the river who appeared to be having a fabulous time and decided to try the water.  Kneeling down, they started to drink.  It only took one taste, and they spat it out of their mouths with disgust and went away.

Meanwhile, the church hardly noticed what had happened.  Nobody could tell that the water was polluted because they had tasted it so long that they thought it was good.  No one was able to tell the difference between polluted and clean water.

Later they all got out of the river and fell asleep on either side of the bank.  The army of God was fast asleep, and no one cared what had happened to God’s river.

As time passed, a couple of sleepers awakened and looked up, astonished at the river.  They tried to shake the others awake but were unsuccessful.  I believe they represent the prophetic gifts in the church.  At last, two angels from heaven came down and put little pots of eye salve into their hands, instructing them to put it on the eyes of those asleep.

The two prophetic people applied the salve to each person, one at a time.  Everyone had the same response after having the medicine put on their eyes.  They sat up, looked at the river and declared, “Oh, what has happened to the river of God?  How did we let this happen?”

Finally, they all stood up in one accord and went into the river to try to clean it up.  Alas, they sadly failed.  It was too polluted for individuals to clean with their hands.  As I watched, I could see they had found a strategy.  They were building a huge water purification plant in the middle of the river.

As they finished the plant, I saw a tiny trickle of fresh water flow out of the other side of the unit.  Then increasingly water flowed, until the trickle became a stream, and at last, the stream became a mighty river, pure and clean.

The water purification plant represents the houses of prayer which are springing up all over the world.  Isaiah 56:7 says:
Even them I will bring to My holy mountain and make them joyful in My house of prayer . . . For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.
The next sight I saw was puzzling to me.  I saw trees on either side of the river bank, dropping their leaves into the river.  It was several years before I would come to the understanding that the leaves were for the healing of the nations (Ez. 47:12).

The last part of the vision is the most precious.  In the vision, children were in the river, laughing and playing.  They splashed and dunked each other, having a perfectly glorious time.  I believe this is symbolic of a children’s revival which will span the globe.

The ending part of this scene was a great blessing.  I saw the people of the world come and look at the children in the river.  Gazing at one another, they asked, “Should we try to drink one last time from the river?”  Kneeling down, they put their mouths to the water and began to drink.  They drank and drank and drank as if they would never get enough of the pure River of Life.  At that moment, the Lord spoke to me and said, “O taste and see that the Lord, He is good!”

In looking back over the last few decades, the Lord has done and still is doing a great work of purging in the Body of Christ.  Ezekiel 47 tells of pure water issuing from the temple.  Out from the cleansed heart of the Church are issuing many streams which are becoming a mighty river of revival (John 7:18).

Here some characteristics of this revival:
1. There will be an emphasis on holiness and living a sanctified life.  God is exposing sin at all levels.  He is no longer “winking” even for a short while at those who are trying to live double lives of sin and service to God.  This will produce a holy fear of the Lord.
2. These sanctified lives will affect the culture of the nation where they live.  Some will describe it as a “religious revolution.”
3. Prayer groups will spring up with intercession for the nations of the world and the unevangelized.  A fresh emphasis on missions in churches will be fueled.
4. The Holy Spirit is prompting “net-working” of those in business to bring forth a harvest of finance to fund the revival. (Ez. 47:10)
5. Other kinds of nets will be given for the great harvest of fish, which represent the souls of the lost.  Creative evangelism will become culturally relevant, bringing in the generation who are now children and youth.
6. Unusual outpourings of God’s power will occur with signs, wonders and other visitations of the Holy Spirit such as great joy, laughing, weeping and deep conviction of sin.
7. The borders between different denominations will become less defined as more and more groups will pray for the sick, cast out demons and experience power encounters of the Holy Spirit.
8. A fresh love of the Word of God, with an emphasis on scripture memorization, will visit the church.
9. Racism will be abhorrent to the church and unacceptable in those congregations experiencing the river of God.  Racial barriers will topple as God’s torrent of love is poured out.
10. Those refusing to swim with the current of the river will be in serious trouble.  Their churches will become dead and lifeless, and members will flock to drink of the river of revival.  Such churches will become “swamps and marshes” which will not be healed. (Ez. 47:11)

An Invitation: Drink Deeply
There are some who will only be content with the “experience” and in this case, the refreshing and reviving they receive will only be temporary.  Those churches who are touched by the true river will become on fire with a desire to see the lost brought to Christ and the world evangelized.

In the 1980s, I started to receive calls from intercessors from many places.  Each of these said something very similar.  They felt God had told them revival would begin in their little town, or big city, or nation.  I pondered what each had said.  Could they all be hearing from God?  Finally, the Holy Spirit spoke this in my heart, “Cindy, in the coming revival there is not just one place which will be able to claim they are experiencing revival.  The revival is going to happen in many places at once.  It will be like spontaneous combustion of many, many revival fires.  This way, the evil will not be able to get in and put a stop to it as he has in the past through sin or personalities or excesses.”

I realize this is true.  While revivals are messy at times, God is still moving powerfully.  Do excesses exist?  Yes, undoubtedly.  However, the River of God is spilling over into nation after nation.  The Lord is inviting all the children to drink deeply of this river.  I believe with all my heart that revival is coming to my nation.  Intercessors have prayed for years for God to pour out His Spirit on America.  The River of God’s Spirit will touch every nation, and every people will have an opportunity to receive Christ as personal Savior until the earth will be full of the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.

The Camels are Coming

2013 PROPHETIC WORD:
THE CAMELS ARE COMING
As we have entered into this new year of 2013, I would like to share a word of encouragement with you.  Just before the official crossover into 2013, the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, "The Camels are Coming." Then I was taken to the book of Beginnings, that is Genesis, Chapter 24. Here we find the story of Abraham releasing one of his servants, Eliezer, to go and find a wife for his promised son Isaac.

Genesis 24:1-15 (New King James Version)
Now Abraham was old, well advanced in age; and the Lord had blessed Abraham in all things. So Abraham said to the oldest servant of his house, who ruled over all that he had, "Please, put your hand under my thigh, and I will make you swear by the Lord, the God of heaven and the God of the earth, that you will not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell; 4 but you shall go to my country and to my family, and take a wife for my son Isaac."
And the servant said to him, "Perhaps the woman will not be willing to follow me to this land. Must I take your son back to the land from which you came?"
But Abraham said to him, "Beware that you do not take my son back there.  The Lord God of heaven, who took me from my father's house and from the land of my family, and who spoke to me and swore to me, saying, 'To your descendants[a] I give this land,' He will send His angel before you, and you shall take a wife for my son from there.  And if the woman is not willing to follow you, then you will be released from this oath; only do not take my son back there."  So the servant put his hand under the thigh of Abraham his master, and swore to him concerning this matter.
Then the servant took ten of his master's camels and departed, for all his master's goods were in his hand. And he arose and went to Mesopotamia, to the city of Nahor.  And he made his camels kneel down outside the city by a well of water at evening time, the time when women go out to draw water. Then he said, "O Lord God of my master Abraham, please give me success this day, and show kindness to my master Abraham. Behold, here I stand by the well of water, and the daughters of the men of the city are coming out to draw water. Now let it be that the young woman to whom I say, 'Please let down your pitcher that I may drink,' and she says, 'Drink, and I will also give your camels a drink'-let her be the one You have appointed for Your servant Isaac. And by this I will know that You have shown kindness to my master."
And it happened, before he had finished speaking, that behold, Rebekah, who was born to Bethuel, son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham's brother, came out with her pitcher on her shoulder.

This account is believed to have been shortly after Isaac's mother Sarah had passed away and Isaac was about 40 years of age.  Abraham's servant follows his orders and returns with Rebekah. Genesis 24:63 tells us that it was while Isaac was out praying in the field that he lifted up his eyes and saw the camels coming. On the camel, was his bride. My brothers and sisters, I believe 2013 is one of the most strategic, prophetic years of our lifetime. This is a year that we must take our prayers to another level. There is a clarion call for the people of God to activate prayer as never before. Prayer moves the hand of God to act on behalf of His people. If there was ever a time, we need to pray, it is now!

James 5:16 tells us the effectual, fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much. I perceive by way of the Spirit that 2013 is the year of answered prayers. What makes this "prayer of faith" so interesting --it deals with the mere fact that God had granted it, before Eliezer had finished speaking it. The prayer was not even complete, yet the response was already at hand. As in the account of Eliezer, God has already heard our prayers and already knows the answers well in advance.

Even as Abraham's servant set in his heart to find a wife at the well for his master's son, his prayer was answered immediately. 2013 is the year that the things you have been pressing and believing God for years will manifest. I decree and declare that your camels are coming. Your prayers have ascended into the very throne room of God and have activated the hand of God. Camels in biblical times were used to carry the possessions of kings. They were used for personal transportation, as a source for taking loads or burdens and they were used in war. Camels are found throughout Bible History, where they were considered very useful and valuable. The number of camels someone owned was sometimes used as a measurement of personal wealth (Genesis 30:43), and were considered to be a respectful gift (Genesis 32:15).  Your prophetic camels are loaded with valuables; you will recover all.

Genesis 24: 62-63
Now Isaac came from the way of Beer Lahai Roi, for he dwelt in the South. And Isaac went out to meditate in the field in the evening; and he lifted his eyes and looked, and there, the camels were coming.

There were several camels, several men. They were all coming back and the Bride was with them; like a caravan; he saw them from afar off. As soon as he saw the camels, he knew it was the answer to his prayer.

2013 is the year your camels will come with precious possessions that you have
been waiting for. It is the beginning of a new generational shift. It is the year
of change. The camels are coming and they are coming with new opportunities, new business ideas, new ministries, new organizations, new relationships, and new assignments. They are coming with your healing, your deliverance, they are coming loaded with your precious possessions. Your caravan of camels and resources are coming. God has heard and answered your prayer!

Grab hold of this prophetic word for your life: The camels are coming.

Sources of information from Bill & Sonya - DR Congo

This is from our friends that are heading back to DR Congo.  I thought it was interesting information that some of you may be interested in.  Blessings, Deb

I have two sources of information to share with you. First, I just finished reading Jason Stearns' book Dancing in the Glory of Monsters: The Collapse of The Congo and The Great War of Africa (Click here to purchase this book on Amazon.)

Stearns tries to describe the political morass that creates the mind-numbing and soul-grinding Vitamix® blender that is the eastern Congo today. (You need a dictionary at your side just to keep the many militia and rebel group acronyms straight- LRA, RPF, AFDL, FARDC, PNC, FDLR, CNDP, and the ADF to name a few.) This read will leave you shaking your head at the insanity of it all.

Secondly, for those who do not have the inkling to purchase the book, I have a video from The Economist website. (http://vision.ae/en/videos?utm_source=utm_source=CNBC+US&utm_medium=utm_medium=cpc&utm_content=utm_content=In-Banner&utm_campaign=utm_campaign=numbers_campaign2)

It gives a short introduction to the current socioeconomic and political conditions in eastern Congo. The Economist is a British news service that centers on issues pertaining to the world economy. It offers a non-American perspective on what is going on in the world. Since introspection is healthy, I gain from understanding how others view the tenuous Pax Americana. Consider this video "Intro to Eastern Congo Lite."

If there is ever a place where forgiveness that is not contingent on justice is needed, eastern Congo is it. This is not to say justice cannot be served here. However, the not so merry-go-round of serial revenge seeking that roams about eastern Congo needs to find its end. They say that evil prevails when good men do nothing. In this case evil simply prevails and something needs to be done, but what? Where do we seek redress?

Sonia and I leave in a few weeks to put our boots on the ground as we partner with the Congo church to make our own investment in the process of reconciliation through empowering local pastors to be better community leaders. We will concentrate on their training so they will be equipped and empowered to find local solutions to local problems.

As we head back, there are many more unknowns than knowns for us at this point. As we all launch into 2013 it would be well if we remembered the last words of Jesus in the Great Commission: "Behold, I am with you, even to the end of the age." Matthew 28:20

  Take care and Godspeed,

Little Foxes

When I read this, I thought of the times I am singing one moment and grumping the next.  Once I get over my little fit I would think, "that was such a silly thing to ruin my mood".  It reminded me that we battle, not with flesh and blood, but with principalities and that we don't have to run defense all the time.  We have a Father who provides us Words so we can battle from the offensive, declaring the victory that has already been won.  A friend of mine taught me that we fight 'from the victory' not 'to the victory'.

I have often taught on the scripture found in Song of Solomon 2:15, the one that talks about the little foxes spoiling the vine. I have always found this to be so true in my own life
.
It always seems to me like it is the small things that will distress me. I seem to gain a strength somewhere from deep within when it comes to dealing with the big things, but the small things try to annoy me beyond belief.
You know what I am talking about, that car that pulls out in front of you and then goes 5 miles per hour. Or that long line at the grocery story, when you almost make it to the cashier, someone has to go and check a price. Or let's get even closer to home; when your husband or child leaves their clothes three inches from the hamper.
Why then is it that we can weather the large storms but the small ones seem to get us off balance? I feel I found some insight into this in the word of God. As I was thinking about this today, how the little foxes spoil the vine, I read the entire chapter of the Song of Solomon, chapter 2. It was very interesting.
It does indeed talk about the little foxes spoiling the vine but it also refers to the timing of when the foxes attempt to spoil the vine. They attempt to spoil the vine when it is in bloom.
In other words, those little foxes come when harvest time is upon us; when the vine is beginning to bloom or in full bloom. This was exciting to me. It tells me that it is a sign, when I see the little things attempting to irritate and annoy, I can now recognize that they are simply trying to take my focus off one thing, the blooming vine, the time of harvest. Isn't that exciting? I think so.
I have found for myself, if I recognize the enemy and if I recognize the season in which he works, I am much more equipped to handle him and overcome him. If I understand what he is doing and what he is attempting to get my attention off of, I am better armed to quickly defeat him.
The Bible tells us to rejoice when the enemy comes against us, why? Because he has seen us as a threat and his only hope is to stop us. If the enemy is not fighting you at all, that usually means you are no threat to him at all.
It's the same when the enemy tries to send little things to annoy and delay you. Those are 'little foxes' and they have one goal 'to spoil the vine.' Spoil means to bind, destroy and offend.
You see, when all those little things begin to come your way, they come with purpose, to spoil, to bind you up so that you feel as if you are unable to move, to destroy your harvest, and to offend you.
Remember, offense often comes just at time of breakthrough. If you are feeling in your heart that breakthrough is imminent, don't allow offense. Regardless of what happens or what little thing comes your way, don't get offended. It's a simple choice; you can choose to take offense or choose to walk away from it.
A friend of mine once taught me a lesson about offense. A situation had occurred where someone had not told me the truth; she picked up a ball and held it. She threw the ball at me and I, of course, caught it. She said 'offense is like this ball, it can be thrown at you but you don't have to catch it.'
Things get thrown at us every single day, every hour of the day, whether we choose to catch them or not is up to us. Don't catch and react to the little things that spoil, bind, destroy and offend you when your harvest is in full bloom. Instead refuse offense, choose peace and love and joy and walk on.
The enemy can only spoil our vine if we allow him to, we have all the power, he has none without our permission. Refuse to react to the little foxes, allow your vine to remain unspoiled as it was destined to be.

Hi everyone!  Roy and I are celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary at a Prophetic conference in Albany, Oregon. We have been blessed with a pretty fancy hotel (for us), time to catch up with some great friends over dinner and even a bit of shopping.  Needless to say we are having a great weekend of refreshing, rejuvenating and rejoicing in God's goodness.

Many of you know our dear friend Tony Robinson by now.  She is a mother, Pastor, missionary, author and incredible speaker.  In the attached blog, she offering her book, Water from the Well, as a free Kindle download for today only.  Please take a moment and download if for yourself.   It is not only a great read, but a tool for bible studies as well.

God bless you guys.  Roy & I pray for you daily..

2013 The Year of The “BIG GIVE”!

Happy New Year everyone!  I hope your new year is off to an amazing start.
To say that I am excited about 2013 is an understatement, so many great things in store!
As I reflect on 2012 I am in awe of the many amazing things the Lord did.
While last year had it’s hardships, trials and tribulations in the midst of it all, God’s faithfulness was overwhelming

2012 was chock full of blessings and the manifestation of dreams and promises.
Blessings that including releasing a book, a prayer journal and the beautiful Well Watered Woman cups. The opportunities to minister internationally including a 12 day ministry trip to the Philippines. To have the honor of preaching the gospel and pouring our during the crusades and services was life changing and I will forever be grateful to the Lord, Pastor Glen Emano, Pastor Ron Buzon and the Hope for Tomorrow ministry for inviting me to be part of their team.

As we entered into the new year, I knew God was up to something big and did not want to miss it.  As I begin to spend time in His presence seeking His heart and face He begin to speak.  One key thing God spoke to me about is that 2013 is the year of giving. I am dubbing it the year of the BIG GIVE!  My personal goal and determination is to give exceeding and abundantly above what I receive.  To often we equate giving as a money thing, giving is not always about money. Money is temporary, love is eternal. You can have a million dollars in the bank and not have joy or hope.  But if I have the joy of the Lord and the Hope of glory in me I am richer than that millionaire and I have more to offer or give because I have Jesus.

Reading the Old Testament especially in Leviticus God broke it down giving so plainly it blew my mind. He made a way for every man and woman to give. He started with a bull if you couldn’t afford a bull, give a ram if you couldn’t afford a ram give a lamb, if couldn’t afford a ram give a goat, if you couldn’t afford a goat give a dove, if you couldn’t afford a dove, give some flour.  He showed me through this that everyone has something to give. We have love, we have smiles, we have words of encouragement and life. We have hope, joy, and most importantly we have Jesus.  Grasping this revelation like never before I am determined to give myself away. I firmly believe when you give yourself away you will be blessed more than you can ever imagine and the more we give the more we receive to give away.

I am so serious about the BIG GIVE that I am giving away the Kindle version of  Water From The Well for free. It will be free HERE on Amazon today January 12th for 24 hours ONLY
Why am I giving it for free when it is what brings income into my hands and home? Because I KNOW this book is anointed to change lives and the people who need it most aren’t always the people who can afford to buy it.

I am determined to change lives this year though God and by the help of the Holy Spirit and this is one way He showed me I can do it. So please pray and cover this book, that those who need it the most will get it and that God will bless and honor our giving in ways that we can’t imagine or conceive. Pray that Water From The Well will bless, water and refresh every person that it finds its way too.

Many don’t think they have anything but as God asked Moses, what’s in your hand? As the Elisha asked the widow, what’s in your house?  I ask you, what do you have to give? In Christ you have more to give than you think.

Today I want to challenge all of you to GIVE BIG this year. Give like you’ve never given before. Give love, give life, give forgiveness, give hope. Freely you have received now freely give.

I would love to hear from those of you who take the challenge to give big. Let us know how you are finding ways to bless others.

Blessings,
Tony R

I read the following by Mehesh Chavda and it was in such alignment with what we at Eden's Song are praying over you this season I wanted to add it in:

We believe God wants believers to declare miracle provision and harvest for 2013. We take inspiration from the widow’s testimony in 2 Kings 4:1-7 of abundance. Just as she hearkened to the instructions of the prophet Elisha, there is answered prayer and release of prosperity as we hear and do His word for us.
2 Kings 4:1-7 “A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, ‘Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the LORD. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves.’ So Elisha said to her, ‘What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?’ And she said, ‘Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.’ Then he said, ‘Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbors—empty vessels; do not gather just a few. And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones.’ So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out. Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, ‘Bring me another vessel.’ And he said to her, ‘There is not another vessel.’ So the oil ceased. Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, ‘Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest.’”

Also, according to Genesis 26 we release the hundred-fold blessing over our families, church, and nation. No matter the natural circumstances, we declare that God's word for His Church is supernatural increase and supply. As heirs of His promises, we will have Rehoboth and flourish.
Genesis 26:12-13 “Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him. The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous;”

AND FROM ROY & DEB
we speak to the empty vessels to be filled & prophetically declare over our families and churches that there is oil in the house! Our wells are being filled by our Lord, Jehovah Jireh.

THAT THE OIL WILL NEVER RUN OUT NOR WILL THEY EVER FEEL THE STING OF AN EMPTY VESSEL.
WE DECLARE:
OPEN HEAVENS AND FAVOR OVER OUR MISSIONARIES, THEIR FINANCES AND THEIR CHILDREN
I declare this coming year a year of Favor for our missionaries.  I declare Your Spirit will not only breath into their families, their finances, their home and those they serve but will carry them.  I declare that the hearts of Your servants be overflowed with Your love as You prepare a banqueting table for each one of them and that the overflow will capture up those they watch over.  I declare the MK’s stable and strong in their surroundings; not rocked by different cultures and times or moving back and forth between countries.
THAT THEIR HANDS WILL ALWAYS HAVE ANOTHER’S TO HOLD IN FRIENDSHIP
THAT FOOD WOULD ALWAYS FILL THEIR TABLES
EASE IN OBTAINING VISA’S
YOUR PRESENCE AS A CLOUD BY DAY AND PILLAR BY NIGHT
I pray in Your presence, O God.  That it would be Your Presence through the Holy Spirit that manifests the Kingdom of God to this earth.  That your presence would so envelop all of us that our shadows would become like Peter’s shadow and all those that came near would be healed of body, spirit, soul.
YOUR FEATHERS AS THEIR continued COVERING AND REFUGE
RAISE THEM UP TO SOAR LIKE ON WINGS OF EAGLES OH LORD, THAT THEY WILL RUN AND NOT GROW WEARY; WALK AND NOT FAINT.
I declare that this is the year that they recognize the fruit of their appointments.  That the fields will become white with the harvest and truly in 2013 we will begin to see the scripture in Romans 14 that  “every  knee will bow & every tongue confess that I am Lord” come to life.
2013 AS A TIME OF CHANGE WHERE WE WILL ADVANCE:
1)      FROM PROVISION TO POSSESSION
2)      FROM STRUCTURE OF SURVIVAL TO STRUCTURE OF CONQUEST
3)      FROM FEAR TO BOLDNESS
A SEASON TO REORGANIZE FOR GREAT SPIRITUAL AND NUMERIC GROWTH
RE: DEUTERONOMY 1:6-25

We love you!
